Introduction

Wordorphin is a fast combo word game for iOS, made by Angelo Montil. We built this game to be fun, not to harvest your data. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and what choices you have.

Information We Collect

We keep things minimal. Here is what we may collect depending on your settings and how you play:

Device Information

Basic details like your device model and operating system version. This helps us make sure the game runs well on your hardware.

Gameplay Data

Your scores, progress, achievements, and game settings. This data is stored locally on your device and can be synced through Apple iCloud if you have it enabled.

Purchase Information

All purchases happen through Apple via StoreKit. We do not process, store, or have access to your payment details. Apple handles all of that on their end.

Ad Interaction Data

If rewarded ads are enabled through Google AdMob, Google may collect data related to your ad interactions. This is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.

How We Use Your Information

  • Making the game work and keeping your progress in sync through iCloud
  • Improving gameplay, fixing bugs, and making the experience better over time
  • Serving relevant rewarded ads, if applicable

We do not sell your data. We do not share it with anyone outside of the third-party services described below.

Third-Party Services

Wordorphin integrates with a few third-party services. Each has their own privacy practices:

Data Storage and Security

Your game data lives on your device. If iCloud is turned on, it also syncs through Apple's iCloud key-value store so you can pick up where you left off on another device.

We do not run our own servers for storing personal data. There is no Wordorphin database with your information in it.

Children's Privacy

Wordorphin is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access your data - Ask us what data we have about you
  • Delete your data - Request that we remove your information
  • Opt out of personalized ads - Adjust your device ad settings or disable rewarded ads in-game

Since most data is stored locally on your device, deleting the app removes the majority of your data. For anything stored through iCloud, you can manage that through your Apple account settings.

Changes to This Policy

If we make meaningful changes to this privacy policy, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top. For significant changes, we may also include a notice within the app. We encourage you to check back occasionally.
