How do I restore my purchases?

Open Wordorphin, go to Settings, and tap "Restore Purchases." This will sync any previous purchases tied to your Apple ID. If something still looks wrong, try signing out of your Apple ID and back in, then restore again.

My progress was lost. How do I get it back?

Accepted Answer

Your progress is saved locally and synced through iCloud. Make sure iCloud is turned on in your device settings (Settings > Apple ID > iCloud). If you switched devices, give it a minute to sync after launching the game. If your data is still missing, reach out to us with your device info and we will help figure it out.

How does the combo system work?

Every word you find within the combo window adds to your combo counter. The faster you chain words together, the higher your multiplier goes. There are six combo stages, from Heating Up all the way to Godlike, each with increasing score multipliers. If you stop finding words, the combo timer decays and your streak resets. Check the in-app "How to Play" section for a full breakdown.

Is the game free?

Yes. Wordorphin is free to download and play. There are no ads required to play the game. You can optionally watch rewarded ads for bonuses, and there are cosmetic in-app purchases available, but nothing that affects gameplay or gives a competitive advantage.

What devices are supported?

Wordorphin requires iOS 17 or later and runs on both iPhone and iPad. If your device supports iOS 17, you are good to go.

How do I request data deletion?

Since most of your data is stored locally on your device, deleting the app removes it. If you use iCloud sync, you can clear that data through your Apple account settings. If you want to make sure everything is gone, email us at support@wordorphin.app and we will walk you through it.
